We celebrate Columbus Day (and my first wedding anniversary) by discussing the discovery of a continent, and Americans’ pronunciation of “lever.” Then Johnson is underwhelmed at the idea of school curry, so we talk about the Tottenham “Yid” controversy. Then we move onto the weightier issue of whose electric plug sockets are better (verdict: a draw), and later Cocker calls in to take the quiz, and tries to imagine what “Rocky Mountain Oysters” might be; Johnson, meanwhile, is in trouble with the “rozzers.”
Happy belated anniversary, James! : ) hopefully your paper Playstation 4 was a hit..lol.. loved the show, as usual..the plug discussion made me think about the day I bought a world adapter kit for my Apple devices. I think Chinese plugs look like American plugs, but without the holes in the prongs. Shoutout to the British electrical plug..they stay put. I like that. I made sure the plug was put away, so I WOULDN’T step on it. Columbus “discovered” America on FRIDAY, October 12, 1492. Have a great weekend, y’all : )
