This week, we discuss something that British McDonald’s have that American ones don’t; we also compare school potatoes, and I say the word “metadata” a lot. Then, after a brief foray into a list of some words that have different meanings in our two countries, my mum returns to the quiz. It’s a close match, finally decided by the most gripping round of Rock Paper Scissors ever recorded. Oh: the Flanders & Swann song that mentions an omnibus is here.
I loved the show this week as always James! I must say that I remain confused about the “Kissing Gate” even with the picture. Hmmmm…
Patricia and Paul were so brilliantly funny. I admit that with all the hilarious tension deciding whom actually won the quiz, I thought that you all needed to meet at a “kissing gate” somewhere to sort it out – Kiss, hug and make up!
Dookie. Bwahahahaha!
Thank you, Mary – it was fun to take part…. and justice was seen – or at least heard – to be done with Paul’s triumphal winning of the rochambeaux (ro sham bo?), thank goodness! Ref the kissing gate, you will just have to get yourself over here for a live demonstration of how it works, won’t you?!
I just love your mum! She is such a good sport to play along with your silliness.
